If it wasn’t so sad it would be funny!

I have been asking around for perspectives from citizens and I would like to share this one with you.

Are you as stumped as I am?  Wasn’t it bad enough that the five alarm bunch recalled a City Council & then appointed themselves to positions?  Wasn’t it bad enough that they want to change the Budget Committee, change the Tourism Committee, etc. etc?  Wasn’t it bad enough that the same lame people showed up at the Port Commission meeting & threatened to recall them?  That same bunch held a meeting at the fire hall to reinstate the volunteers – not writing about the new ones who we are thankful for – but the older ones who played games with our safety for months.  Yes, I am talking about the strike, those appointing themselves as officers, endangering our citizens with their power plays.  At this fire hall meeting they were all reinstated and there was a lot of ignoring of the facts.  The former fire chief who resigned and helped cause this strike, and was suing the City, was also reinstated, but not yet as chief.  This important meeting was not televised. Let us not forget the stolen radio tower installed on the wrong property that the City has to pay for. The overbuilt fire station that we are still being billed for on our electric bills. Many of the citizens rely on Channel 23 for announcements and watching meetings.  Those people are unable to attend in person.  So, those of you who cannot attend are absolutely ignored as you have been for years.  However, you do have a voice & can let people know that you are fed up.  Personally, I cannot wait until November comes to vote these people out.  What scares me is all of the damage they can continue to inflict on this City in the meantime.  Watch your back folks & pay attention to what is going on as they are power hungry & ego driven.  When they were previously in office they damn near bankrupted the City and the same bunch are pulling the strings again. Why has nothing been done to stop them?  Are you stumped too?

Lance's announcement to the assembled group that it was "not appropriate to discuss personnel matters" as that properly belonged in executive session was not reassuring. Nor was having the volunteers voted in "en masse" when at least two of them have not submitted to drug testing. Was it to camouflage/protect Mr. Pricher, who is still suing the City?

Now watch someone try to ding me for having an opinion.

They will not ding you.
They have guilt in what they have done.
They also have guilt for what they did not do.
It must be sad to have to live in such guilt that you cannot speak out about it.
They are not going to come out of the closet and have everyone know they support what is happening or who or what caused these problems.
You see that would cause guilt.
And that they could not live with.

he's not suing the city, he his setting himself up for another payday just like BS did before he left office, its just another slimy plot to get some quick cash out of this rich city. If i were fired, for whatever reason since this is oregon, and we dont need a reason, do you think that i would fight for unemployment, win the battle then ask for my job back? most employeers would laugh at you, but not Lance, no, instead it is time for a second chance, what a nice mayor we have here. Here mr ex fire cheif take this free money i collected illegally from the citizens, you may also have another position with out department you bankrupt how does that sound? like a win win for everyone right?

yes cody i am stumped
