The nature of the encroachment upon American constitution is such, as to grow every day more and more encroaching. Like a cancer; it eats faster and faster every hour. The revenue creates pensioners, and the pensioners urge for more revenue.The seekers more numerous and more corrupt, and every day increases the circles of their dependents and vanity, luxury, foppery, selfishness, meanness, and downright venality swallow up the whole of society.

Maybe Lance should stop walking across the street to get his opinions.
The City Council Agenda has been revised. It has been done in accordance with the law, 48 hour notice was. However, it was done late on 05-20-11 Friday.
The item that was added is:
Item D. Volunteer Fire Chief Position.
Source close to situation say they want to “restructure the Fire Department for cost saving reasons” The new appointee would be a current volunteer member. The volunteer has the ear of the Mayor and a select few council member.
