Wow, is the city a "sinking ship" or what? The rats sure seem to think so.
Captain Brad should have told us he had steered the city onto the rocks.

The problem is how well this city COULD be doing, as opposed to the reality of where a few elected officials put us. This town can and I am sure will be very prosperous again. The beauty and proximity to a metro area of 1 million residents is a sure bet. The problem with that is the people elected to do things right for this town stopped doing that, I am also wondering what we are doing business with people who have no business out here in the first place? I am quite sure the new elected officials know the direction the town would like to head, and the people running away from it just wanted to gain for themselves. How can you quit your job because you don't think you have trust of other people? There is almost always a good enough reason for the trust issues. Which we all know most of them, but he will refuse to acknowledge them. Then his comrades abandon with him. I am perfectly fine with that, we can find much smarter business people that will do much smarter financial things with our money. Not ask for as much as possible while they run out of town. Really. I would love to quit my job and ask my boss for three months pay to leave on my own terms. my boss would give me a nice F U.

7.3 Council Relations With Citizens, Other Public Agencies, Community Organizations and Media.
a. Councilmembers should not ask citizens to appear at a Council meeting to state a complaint or question that has not been previously presented to staff. As a first step, Councilmembers should refer the citizen with questions, complaints or suggestions to the City Administrator or the appropriate Department Head. Councilmembers may further explain that if the citizen is not satisfied with the results, they may present their issue during the public input portion of the next Council meeting. Councilmembers should always inform the City Administrator upon receipt of a citizen inquiry or complaint for which some type of follow up is necessary.
b. Councilmembers should be welcoming to citizens and other non-staff speakers at public meetings. Councilmembers should ask for clarification where necessary and avoid debate and argument with any member of the public.

SECTION 8: CODE OF ETHICS
8.1 Impartiality and Fairness. Councilmembers are encouraged to conduct themselves so as to bring credit upon the City as a whole, and to set an example of good ethical conduct for all citizens of the community. Councilmembers should constantly bear in mind these responsibilities to the entire electorate, and refrain from actions benefiting any individual or interest group at the expense of the City as a whole. Councilmembers should likewise do everything in their power to insure impartial application of the law to all citizens, and equal treatment of each citizen before the law, without regard to race, national origin, sex, age, gender, social station or economic position.

Is everyone required to read this?
Should be annually.

I know, it's out of topic but... is there a way to record the council meetings and put it on YouTube so people without City Cable can see it? Is there anybody in town capable of doing this?

It took time for enough hits on my you tube channel to go from 3 minute restrictions to what I was just allowed.

My you tube account was just upgraded to allow me uploads up to 20 gig.

I am uploading a complete council meeting at this time.

This is my first attempt at that, so stay tuned.
