So how many of you macho town idiots last night were firing off your guns from 11:14 until 12:20? Beside the fact they can't tell time, do you not understand where you live? Besides upsetting the dogs, you disturbed our sleep for a quasi-holiday with a completely arbitrary date and time set by some old dead Roman emperor in 46 BC Just to prove how male you are? Did you learn nothing from the Colorado shootings, from the Sandy Hook killings? You live in a town next to a highway and no matter where you point that thing, even straight up in the air, the load lands somewhere. I'm pretty sure there's a law somewhere about inhabited buildings and federal highways. But what can one expect of a town where the neighbors think an ugly blue dumpster in the front of their house is an improvement and the RV never needs washing? When are people in this lousy little burg going to enter the 21st century? Of course I'm grumpy, the damned dogs kept going way after you were done and probably passed out, sunshine.

Discharging a firearm within the city limits is itself illegal.
What else would you expect in a town were the "leaders" behave the way they do here?

I think congratulations are also in order for Rob Brostoff, a Cascade Locks resident*, blowhard, and formerly recalled city councilman who somehow managed to get 14** "letters to the editor" published in the Hood River News. The OFFICIAL newspaper of record for Hood River County(Lmao).
WOW, second place in the whole frickin county!! Way to go Rob!!! We are SOOOO Proud!!
That's a pretty amazing feat Rob, especially considering how so many local people who prefer ELECTED representatives had their letters end up in the circular file.
Did you write all of those letters on your own Rob?

I guess your letters must'a struck a cord with the editor there at the Hood River News.

Just one question Rob, how could your letters have been so incredibly ineffective? Not even one of "your guys" actually got elected..???
I mean really, 14** free chances to influence the public opinion and in return....nada....

I sure you can't help but wonder how you failed so dramatically. Do you think it was your letters Rob, or the fact they were published by the editor of the Hood River Snooze?

* No word yet on if he will be supporting/following his leader(s) to whatever town his leader(s) may choose to settle/destroy. We can only hope.

** The number 14 should be taken with a "grain of salt", it was taken from a story reported in the Hood River News
