It appears that an officer of the Five Alarm Recall PAC does not believe that there is an ongoing investigation into their unlawful actions. All one has to do is call (503) 986-1518 and you will reach the elections division of the Secretary of State. The investigator is named Jennifer Hartzel. Then ask her the status of the Michael “Cody” Steelman v. Five Alarm Recall Political Action Committee case and you will be told that she cannot answer questions as it is under an active investigation at this time.
Or you can call the Governor’s office and his office will refer you back to her as he is fully aware of all corruption going on with this City and all complaints filed against this very council since my complaint. Call and ask and you will be amazed at how high up the ladder these issues have reached.
Then you have to add in the other complaints you heard of at the citizen meeting, concerning what happened after my complaint and that adds credibility to mine and credibility to theirs. You know what they say about power in numbers.
So to this officer of that PAC if you think because nothing has happened yet you may wish to rethink that position that nothing is going to happen, as if my complaint did not have any legal standing under the law, it would have been dismissed in the beginning and not still be under an active investigation. So it is not you who “cannot wait for that decision” it is I who cannot wait. So now after you make that call you need to realize, that the longer it takes the more I am going to win and vice versa for all other complaints in all these state agencies or as I said my complaint would have been dismissed already.

All I can say to this person who declined my challenge to all of this to be true concerning the appointees which I agree now prove to me that these were the very reasons that lies were told to recall the previous council for and untrue concerning the recalled councilors is back it up with facts as I have facts which could withstand any court challenge concerning what you printed against the recalled councilors. Under that foundation of law no person is immune from the long arm of the law. Although I would have loved to challenge everything you said I am glad after the fact that you were shut down and even though the meeting was shut down I want to ask. How did it feel to be censored? Did it feel good? No it does not! So how can you explain how this appointed mayor can attempt to use council rules which in no way can any rule or law be written which violate the peoples 1st amendment state constitutional rights to censor dissent like he does? So if you truly want to understand what this so called constitutional history teacher, appointed mayor, who believes that council rules apply to citizen rights guaranteed by our very first amendment is; or if he does not understand our constitution as he thinks he does I suggest he read the League of Oregon Cities manual for Local Government. Then maybe he can understand in laymen’s terms that he does not have the power to restrict our right to free speech, instruct our legislators or redress our grievance’s to our government in any manner of rule or law and when my suit of law I had proof of which began this week and showed the crowd tonight, which being a council members wife I am sure you will learn this is a reality of only one suit of law and I am working on more at this time, so whatever happens to this city, this city will have only the appointees to blame for the financial loss this city is going to incur. Now if you read what I said then read our first amendment rights, you will see what this appointed mayor does not understand, is that council rules only apply to council and that is why they are called council rules and any moron would know that. So now that you have been led to the real truth, tell me how does it feel having your right to free speech stripped from you in a non-governmental meeting when ours is stripped from us in a governmental meeting in direct violation of our first amendment state constitutional rights? It did not feel good did it so welcome to our nightmare.
To the citizens I am sorry but after over a decade of complaints when is enough, truly enough? Or do you want your first amendment rights violated along with U.S. Code concerning all state and city governments, which this city has ignored me and violated not only my rights but other citizens’ rights as well? As you heard tonight it is coming from not only me but others as well. It is just that I had the retainer agreement for my first action on me tonight and I am still trying for more federal suits of law against the city. I am making a stand on having my rights violated under color of law or office of the councils before to the councils of today to protect your rights as well.
I will also tell the citizens that I have filled a civil and criminal complaint with the state agencies with jurisdiction to enforce with documented video proof and budget documents the state holds already proving that our budget is being unlawfully represented and the city is basically cooking the books. Now this recent budget committee also approved this budget and the appointed council had full knowledge that the budget books were being intentionally misrepresented as they exposed it, yet they still approved the budget with the known misrepresented budget and in full knowledge that the books were being cooked. So I am going to amend my complaints to include those on this council who voted to pass this budget knowing fully well that this very budget was cooked to the point of burning and unlawfully misrepresented yet they did nothing to remedy the problems and voted to pass this unlawful budget with known fund intentional misrepresentation violations. What I find extremely stupid is this very appointed council, was fully aware that my complaint hit every state agency including the governor yet they did nothing and passed a budget they knew was in violation of the law and pending investigation.
So with all the fires burning at this time and more to come, I truthfully do not expect any of the appointees to be in office come the November election nor do I expect them to be able to run for public office in this state ever again.
Well put Cody & it is too bad that this sorry bunch cannot see past their noses. They believe they are above the law. We shall see about that. Come November they will all be out of office. They are open to lawsuits and reprimands for their unlawful decisions.
