The nature of the encroachment upon American constitution is such, as to grow every day more and more encroaching. Like a cancer; it eats faster and faster every hour. The revenue creates pensioners, and the pensioners urge for more revenue. The seekers more numerous and more corrupt, and every day increases the circles of their dependents and vanity, luxury, foppery, selfishness, meanness, and downright venality swallow up the whole of society.

I have been asked to explain the difference between an ordinance and a resolution. So I figure I will put a link to a document on line here that will explain more than that based on the League of Oregon Cities charter template we used.
New jobs would create a life line for the area, said Jess Groves, commission president of the Port of Cascade Locks, where Nestle is considering putting the facility.
“(Food and Water Watch members) have the right to feel what they want, but they have to understand that people here are starving,” Groves said. “We’re trying to get something to happen to support our people, but they’re holding everything up.”
So now we are starving??? Je-sus Kee-rist! Going over the top here aren't we Jesse? Looking at you as an example, I'd say we could stand to lose some...wait, A LOT!
