Here is another lesson or two for the day.
When throwing around laws it is best to know what the law was founded on.
Take Ordinance 361 for example. As long as this is active legislation that has not been repealed since it was passed, that very legislation being an Ordinance holds more legal power than a Resolution.
But when the Ordinance also says that all Ordinances or Resolutions concerning the Cascade Locks Fire and Ambulance Department are repealed that means there is no Cascade Locks Fire and Ambulance Department from the date of passage.
Couple that with the provision “including but not limited to” meaning any and all legislation in existence at that time and any future legislation until this Ordinance is repealed, just repeals all legislation passed by the City the minute it was passed by a vote of the Council.
Read it and we will move on to another lesson for the day.
Now at the time the following resolution was passed, Ordinance 361 was passed 3 months before this and the internal governmental agreement with Hood River was still in effect and legally binding.
But the Council at the time wanted a fire chief so bad that they as always forgot about this or did not care and passed this legislation to get what they wanted.
Can you guess which Council members who did all of this today are filing for recalls against these council members, making fools of themselves at Council meetings or in the Hood River News leading the charge to recall.
You read all of this and tell me who was incompetent in what is happening today.
Then think about what I said about they only want your vote to keep the books closed!!!

We do not have a fire and ambulance department, so stop subverting the democratic process so this Council can fix the mess they were left with, by the incompetent former officials leading this recall.

All the work you've put into trying to manufacture a recall of the people cleaning up the Hole in the Fence Gangs legacy of greed, incompetence and ignorance is going to work out exactly like all of their other "plans". The 4 will stay, and be immune from another recall. Lance, on the other hand, will have to join Brad, Rubb and Tuna booing from the bleachers.

You can't recall me 'cause I'll just get two of my friends and we'll appoint ourselves extra supremo council members and then we'll tell you you can't be on council and you won't be able to say anything about it 'cause we are extra supremo council members and you were just regular council members and then you'll be sad and wish you hadn't messed around with us 'cause we got special powers 'cause we just say stuff like "We are in charge" and that's it, we're in charge and there's nothing anybody else can do about it. We learned that from our special friend Jeff he was a paramedic one day and then he said "I'm a Fire Chief and what the heck while I'm at it I'm a friggin Fire Marshall as well" and sure enough he was it and then he got to tell old people how they would all die if he wasn't around and that scared 'em some but they deserved it 'cause they were old and smelled funny and stuff and then these mean people said he couldn't have all the money he wanted and that made him REALLY ANGRY so he showed 'em, he quit but they didn't beg him to come back even though he had got his friend to write stuff in the newspaper saying they should beg him to come back and that made him really sad so he went to S.F. so his friends could do some stuff to make them beg him to come back and then stuff started happening..................

It was not incompetence that just proved everything I said to be correct.
I will not apologize to those taking power they do not have under our Charter.
I will apologize to the innocent when what I do without their knowledge they will be blamed for.
Even if you do not like them and that offends you.

The law is doing that on its own.

The power of Kryptonite:
When Krypton exploded the radioactive remains became deadly for the Kryptonians.
So the citizens of Cascade Locks whom had been unjustly imprisoned in unlawful debt over the years learned of this substance and began gathering this substance Kryptonite.
The Citizens learned to stockpile this substance and to hide it.
The Citizens only released it in small doses over the years.
The effects of this Kryptonite and the fact that Citizen’s had learned and were using Kryptonite against the Kryptonians was in our last election.
Four Super Kryptonians and their leader Super Administrator were fed small doses of Kryptonite until their sicknesses were exposed for the world to see and they were banished or ran from their Super roles in our City.
Then the Citizens went to a root of the problems and exposed the Super Chief to this Kryptonite. Without his protection from Super Administrator knowing he was dead politically here, he began telling of the changing of the public records by him and former Super Administrator his partner in the crime.
Questions about Super Chiefs budget inconsistencies in violation of the law and his inability to run his department in accordance to the law became publically known.
Yet he kept misleading Council so the Citizens gave him a large dose of Kryptonite and banished him from his Super role.
The Citizens thought they had banished all the Kryptonians in power at this point with the exception of one and had begun exposing this Super Councilor with enough Kryptonite to take him out of power.
But a swarm of little converted Kryptonians Super Chief’s tried to use their formers Super Powers on the City to bully their way into power like their former Super Chief did, so the Citizens exposed the swarm with enough Kryptonite to sicken them enough to take them out of power before they grew too strong.
Now the Kryptonians left are so poisoned for life from the effects of the Kryptonite which the citizens exposed them to, that the Citizens can now just laugh at their sickness as they spew poison from their mouths.

Once the votes are counted, Lance will be immediately removed and the other 6 will appoint a new council person to fill the remainder of Lance's term.
Lance will join Brad, Rubb and Tuna in the bleachers and the era of the New Faces will finally, thankfully come to an end.
The blatant condescension of the self righteous, but incredibly incompetent, we know better than you clan will finally be history and the town will begin to heal.
The sun will feel warmer and the rain not so cold. The birds will sing louder and our kids will do their chores with smiles on their faces. We will wake up in the morning and be thankful to live in one of the most beautiful places on earth.
Eventually we might even recognize our individual responsibility for the how our town looks and behaves, instead of thinking throwing money at self professed experts solves everything. We will work together to find real solutions to real challenges and make our city a stronger, friendlier, more honest place to live.
We will also eventually recover from the financial nightmare these shortsighted spend first, find the money later "leaders" have created by padding the wallets and stroking the egos of their buddies.
We can only hope that as a few years pass and things get back to normal the citizens remember how close these self absorbed ego maniacs came to destroying OUR town. The next time they promise they can help, if we just give them a little power, say thanks but no thanks.

I almost lost the video after the last executive session and was able to reframe it and save it.

Those concerned who keep calling thanks, but I have it under control and let them call me names as I do not care.

How incredible is it that karma is kicking the loquacious prevaricator Lance Masters's ass.
Lance Masters participated in a scheme to recall his peers on council and lied to the public during a council meeting to perpetuate that scheme.
The facts now show that yes, Lance did in fact know about a vote not to respond regardless of his 45 minute dog and pony show claiming ignorance.
The incredible part is that he managed to get elected for a recall himself, and now his televised lies are going to hang him.
I'm sure he'll be a showman to the end.
Enjoy the bleachers Lance, you have certainly earned the right to be there.
