I never knew I voted to allow City employees to run the Emergency Services Department.
Is this what you voted for?

Good evening. I recently had a telephone conversation with a fellow volunteer, Jess Zerfing, regarding a meeting between 2 council members and "a few" of the volunteers. I would like to first and foremost establish with the mayor and council members who they should contact regarding any communications with the fire & EMS volunteers. I myself am the President of the volunteer emergency services association, and Zach Pardue is the Vice-President of the association. All communication should be through either myself or Zach. We were voted into the positions by our peer volunteers to represent the volunteers as a whole. I was informed that 2 of the council members would like to sit down with a few of the volunteers to discuss options to resolve the current situation of our department. We have invited you all as a whole on many occasions to come and speak with the volunteers and I must say we are astounded that it took this long and the circumstances had to get this d
rastic for the council to finally decide that you want to speak with us and ask us how we feel. If you want to ask questions, concerns or option ideas of the volunteers then you need to include all of us in the conversation, not just a few or a couple of us. And I would like to ask why are only 2 council members going to be included in this meeting? What is that going to solve? Why can't we speak with the council as a whole group? So, if you really would like to sit down with all of the volunteers and discuss our opinions and ideas, then I would love to set up a date and time with you where we can all sit down and talk. And tonight it was brought to my attention that council will be having an emergency meeting regarding the current situation of the fire department. Why were we not made aware of this previous to the night before? Do you not think it might be a good idea to speak with the volunteers on this subject possibly before the meeting is held? In closing I would highly recommend that you contact either myself or Zach with any questions or concerns that you may have. We look forward to hearing from you about a meeting date and time for us to all sit down and discuss the matters at hand.
Thank you for you time
Sincerely
Megan Webb

Wow, arrogance as a institutional pathology.
Glad you found the files, now if you all could just find a backbone (and $38,000 + monthly tower rental). Sorry to hear about Lance's recall, someone said they got 200 signatures in less than 2 hours, he's done for sure. They didn't even need a 5 Alarm Witch Doctor to get people to sign, amazing!!
It's been 6 years of burning budgets, bridges, egos and our wallets. The air is finally clear enough to see why all the smoke was necessary, complete incompetence!!
Tempers seem to be boiling over down at the Fire Hall/Nintendo Club. How long before somebody tattles and you all are exposed for what you really are?
Integrity, Bravery? lol Don't you need a backbone for both of those?
Let's look at this reasonably: Firefighting used to be a private for-profit industry. In the 1800's, the early days of urbanization, in cities like New York and Baltimore, there were private "clubs" or "gangs" who were in charge of putting out fires. The infamous Boss Tweed started his illustrious political career at a volunteer fire company. The way it functioned was the first club at the scene got money from the insurance company. So, they had an incentive to get there fast. They also had an incentive to sabotage competition. They also often ended up getting in fights over territory and many times buildings would burn down before the issue was resolved. They were glorified looters.
So what has changed?
It seems like Lance would be easy to get out of there - how quickly we all forget about Jeff H. copying (verbatim) Lance's speech. How ironic - a cop and a teacher...cheating, of all things?!
I can't wait for this recall, finally Lance's arrogance will be muted!
When the paper said new captains take helm at CL fire they were not kidding.
They stole it.
Didn't you know that you can appoint yourself to anything if you're in the Fire Dept? Yep, just ask Jeffie Rock-Star who decided he could be Asst. Chief. How'd that work out for you, Jeffie?
Does anybody know if Pricher is still a volunteer? What about Zerfing? Do we have a contact person? Who? Just wondering.
That is a very good question that demands some answers.
Is the employer in charge or are the employees?
Is there a provision in our charter we voted on that says this association has more voting power than our Mayor and City Council and the laws of not only our City but the State?
Doesn’t an association for a city employee group have to be founded in legislation just like a Committee?
Doesn’t a City employee association have to follow public meeting laws once founded by law?
Doesn’t an association to be legal, have to file their articles of incorporation and bylaws including officers with the State?
Doesn’t an association to be legal, have to register their name with the state?
Now that this association has t-shirts for sale which a percentage of the sales is donated to the association, doesn’t the Association have to file for a 501(c)(3) tax exemption status and be approved by the Internal Revenue Department including the requirement to have the proper state fillings along with the 501(3)(c) approved before accepting donations?
But maybe I shouldn’t have these questions myself as I might hurt someone’s feelings again and be punished for my thoughts.

No, somehow since Pricher's been around the fire hall has become a secret society.
Secret members, secret budgets, secret ceremonies where the city administrator is awarded "Fire Fighter of the Year" even though he not trained or even a member of the fire department. I'm sure Jeff wanted that award for himself, but the $140,000 in wages and benefits Bernard, Brad and Lance paid him for one years "work" made it easier to swallow, especially when your as incompetent as Jeff.
Jeff is quoted in the paper as saying "after all I've done for this city". Can anyone name one thing Jeff's done for this city? He conned the feds on a few grant applications and got some grant money we didn't deserve, that doesn't take skill, just a lack of scruples. He "managed" the fire hall building project, managed to spend $1.9 on a $1.2 project.
He's all show, no go. Always has been, always will be. That's why he bonded so well with BS, Brad and Lance. When you boast about your SKILLS all day and then can't deliver you have to keep it secret and this clan has lots of "holes" they want to keep secret.
The truth, even in small doses, is still the truth. Thanks for advertising this blog Brad, you truly are your own and this towns worst enemy at the same time. Find some big shoes and a rubber nose Bozo.
Wow! Can't find anything to hit above the belt...you're all digging so hard, pathetic-
Sticks and stones may break my bones but words can never hurt me.
Keep up the feeding frenzy (or should I say smoking/pillpopping) you degenerate wack jobs!
Getting plenty of laughs...
Are you talking about yourself?
Cody how do you expect them to have their wet dreams of power when you keep waking them up.
Save some for the week of the election.
Okay guys, I hear the election will cost us between $2,000 and $4,000. Ouch, that's a lot. But no problem. I heard at least four people say they had $500 to put towards this. So Ralph Hesgard, Barry Lamont, Robb Brostoff, that's $1,500. Who else said they would pay for it? Anyone remember, didn't Brad also offer? Didn't James Dean say he would throw money in?
Now's the time to put your money where your mouth is. Step right up, give that money to the City folks, because, after all, you wanted this, you can pay for it.
It's a pretty good con man that can screw a town out of nearly everything it has like Jeff has and still manage to have a few pleading for him to come back and screw the town some more. To use Tuna's example, it's kinda like Hitler. We know Hitler was a bad man, but even today there are people who hold Hitler in high regard. As a matter of fact we have a local who is a well known anti-Hitler anti-nazi/skinhead vigilante. His name is Robb. He was so incensed that these Hitler loving Nazis chose Cascade Locks for a gathering he protested. In fact he protested so vehemently that he was arrested for failing a roadside sobriety test.
I guess, like the Nazi skin-head Hitler admirers, some hardcore Pricheroids could be around for awhile. We'll just have to be careful not to become so incensed with their behavior that we end up like Robb, in the back of a patrol car.
Heck, Jeff should be happy to cover that out of the $140,000 the city spent on him in one year. After all, this whole recall thing is about getting enough patsies on the council re-hire Pricheroid numero unos and his cohort BS.
I guess BS could toss in a little of the $18,000 gift Lorang and Masters gave him right after Christmas, even though I'm sure he'll have a good excuse why he shouldn't. That's the one thing you can always count on Seeger for, lots of excuses (Brad's too stupid to realize he needs an excuse).
Small doses Brad, small doses.
OK.could any of you smart idots tell me why the comand vehicle is in dodson, every day and why its not at the fire station where it belongs.nothing like paying for fuel for some person to drive it around like it belongs to them.enough is enough put it back where it belongs. it belongs in cl not in Dodson at someones home.
Well, when it's not there, it's at the house at the end of Cragmont that Bernard used to rent. Girlfriend perhaps?
Wow, I just hope Jeff doesn't find out, He'd be pissed!
Hemorrhoids and Pricherhoids; both just a pain in the a$$.
Well Doesn't Megan live in Dodson?
If so that is probably why we are seeing the command vehicle there.
Now if Council knows about this is the million dollar question.
But a bad Tuna-melt can make you really sick, maybe even kill ya.
I would hope someone is keeping track of the mileage and matching it to the 911 call log?
Megan who? Never met her.
Megan Webb.
The person who wrote the letter on this web site Cody posted today.
The person who elected herself chief.
Boris and Natasha Sullenger are driving around town again. On a fact finding mission.Boris is proud of his vanity plates on his rig.He made them himself when at the Big House. He wishes he could vote at the elections, but being a felon put a stop to that.Natasha just got back this week from her new job.Rodeo Clown, she's been working long hours. One of the Cowboys heard Natasha talking to the livestock, saying WANT TO TAKE IT OUTSIDE WANT TO TAKE IT OUTSIDE.
Kate was spotted down in the Port area dressed up in a meter maid outfit marking tires with chalk. She was telling people that she works for the police.Kate Cascade Locks does'nt a police Department. If you see her just tell her shes doing a great job.
Stick your fingers in your ears so your pea size brain doesn't fall out of your thick skull! Once again too stupid to debate the issues. Don't have a clue what the rest of us are discussing do you? Too ignorant to even try to figure it out. So many insecurities and short comings with your own pathetic life. Can you say "fiduciary responsibility"?
Craig has learned how to spell check but still needs help with his punctuation. Double space after a . and look up the apostrophe rule. Oh, it's the little thing to the right of the semicolon (').
Im' so ignerant cuz I wint to skool in caskade lox and i mak fun of peeple with a job
Did you hear that Tuna told the council that the fire department actually is making a profit? Yeah the auditor has it all wrong. Maybe the city should hire her to help the finance officer.
I have an idea, since we own the interstate we could just put up a toll booth like the port does and we would be like mega rich! Right?
Fiduciary responsibility, its pathetic that this Council is paying $150 hr for attorney fees.Average cost per meeting $500 dollars
Kate,
They must have gotten tired of stalking Tiffany going to church, now they are stalking us. Kinda gives me the chills! See anyone following you around lately with binoculars?
Darlene
Attorney's cost of Bernard Seeger's separation agreement, $8,000. Cost of the last attorney to drive to the meetings $250.00.
Recalling Lance Master's from council, PRICELESS!
Gail Lewis had $500.00 in his pocket too.
Darloony, The only one following you around is that Bull you were talking to.
Did you read Robb’s letter to the editor.
We got $2 million in grants at just pennies on the dollar.
He needs to quit with the tippy cup if he thinks all these loans to match those grants are pennies on the dollar.
Yes Recalling Lance Master's from council, PRICELESS!
The Contact info for the 3 new chiefs was in the Council packet for Monday.

To wake up and the first thing I see is all this personal information I must say you had me going.
It was not cool to wake up and before the sand was wiped from my eyes have to go into a panic mode.
I thought for a minute I was going to have to delete my first reply.
Now that I know this came from public records, there will be those that will overlook that fact and are going to give me hell for it.
They are not going to care and I am going to be accused of who knows what now.
Because this did in fact come from public records and that was mentioned in the reply I will let this stay.
I will ask that if you feel the need to post personal information like this and it is on public record that in the future you just reply with directions to the public records.
Had this not been a part of a public record this type of personal information in a reply would have been deleted.

Anon @11:54, Here's a fact, see if you can recognize it. Felons have the right to vote in almost every state. Some of them even while incarcerated (if registered.)
source, Nat'l Conference of State Legislatures:
http://www.ncsl.org/default.aspx?tabid=1652
Next week, we will learn the actual definition of the word, 'felon.'
These people know this.
I just showed them proof that the former Chief and former Administrator conspired together, to change time card records, so they could hire an EMT before Council voted to authorize it.
That is a crime and did they care.
Hell no because these people are as criminal as those that violated the law if they do not object to that criminal act and continue to support it.
You see this has been happening for years in this town.
If you do not agree with the politics they do not fight the people on the facts, they do everything in their power to make people think those speaking out have a problem.
They even fabricate lies and try to make you look crazy.
You are dealing with people who have no moral standards and think we are a communist nation where they are the law of the land and we the people have no right to speak out against it.
We have seen them knowingly and intentionally violate the law over the years on the backs of the utility rate payers and it does not seem that they have a conscious.
We have heard them tell this Council to violate the law again to pay for the Chief after it was known on the record that he and BS fixed the books and again no conscious.
They want what they want and they will do everything in their power to get it.
Even discrediting the citizens by making the people think we are less of a person than they are because we do not agree with what they are doing.
Just look at this blog as proof.
Enough said.
Cody
Ummm Cody have you missed the facts that the insults go both ways?
Darlene,
I haven't been to the Port since Carol's party on the 17th of July.
Thus it is not that hard for me to ignore the vaguely annoying yet plaintive mating cries of the white-feathered, yellow-bellied warblers that appear here mostly during a full moon.
Nor have I marked a car with chalk in over 25 years. That would be Martha bleating that misinformation about me. I explained to her about the car that hit me during a stint marking tires (always preferable to dispatch among the cadets as it was not a midnight shift) and that it took me years to recover. I was empathizing with her back issues. She did that a lot during the time I attempted to work with her at the food bank. It is hard for me to follow the thought processes with that post that consider that an insult, though.
Maybe another of my personalities can explain it :-)
What choice do I have?
Do I let people throw personal insults at me and get away with it, only to let them think their lies and what they think they want people to believe about me are true to lose my reputation?
Or do I bring myself down to their level and play them at their own game, using their rules?
The reality is these people cannot fight the facts I have and am about to put on this blog for the world to see.
They see it and go into frenzy and when they have no facts to counter the truth they panic and use the only thing they have and that is personal insults against the messengers of the facts having nothing to do with the facts.
Somehow they think that that will change the facts.
When you have lived here as long as I have with a government that uses this very tool of personal debasement to silence those that speak out against the corruption, you learn how the game is played and you learn how to play it.
Now they don’t like it when we play the same game on them that they have played on us all these years.
To that all I can say is it does not feel very good does it?
Maybe now they will stick to the facts, as they now know we can hurt them as much as it has hurt us over the years.
Cody
They don't have a clue what the facts are. They have made up so many lies about people that they can't remember the truth from the lies. Their hate and lies have weakened them and made them sick from the inside out. Just look at the liars, they are weak and with poor health issues because of their wicked ways. They have no one to blame for it but themselves. Kinda sad. :(
Whatever happened to Michelle Bright?
